From next year Etihad airways announced to start flights to Israel
From the next year, the United Arab Emirates said on Monday that it aims to start daily scheduled flights to Israel.
The announcement came after the two countries normalized diplomatic relations in Washington DC on September 15 and signed the Ibrahim Accords between the United Arab Emirates and Israel. The coalition said in a statement.
According to it, "Just one month later, the Etihad became the first GCC carrier to fly a commercial passenger plane to and from Tel Aviv on October 19, 2020."
The new service will take effect on March 28, 2021, and will be a "maximum choice and convenience" for points-to-business and leisure travelers between the UAE and Israel.
The Eithad airlines added that a timeline would be set for connecting Abu Dhabi to key Eithad gateways, including China, India, Thailand, and Australia.
